Lecture Description
The ocean floor is neither flat nor constant. Indeed, the variety of geological and biological activity that takes place there is probably greater than on land. This has only just been realised over the past 20 years or so as scientific exploration of the seas goes subsurface. This talk will show how we explore, what we find, and speculate on where we might go in the future.
